At the Heart of the Historic Headquarters

The spirit of Florence & Nardin was born here, in the Champagne countryside of Champlat-et-Boujacourt. From the courtyard where the barrels are dried, a few steps are enough to reach the cellar where the full barrels are laid out and the vat room with its gleaming thermo-regulated stainless steel tanks is located. It is separated only by a staircase from the basement where the bottles are disgorged. The entire process of making Florence & Nardin Champagnes is concentrated here. As soon as you push open a door, you hear the echoes of constant activity: here barrels are being moved, there machines are being operated. Even the Champagne is not quite still: the corks that close the barrels dance during fermentation. A perpetual movement that contrasts with the silent rest of the cellars: in the cool padding of these centuries-old galleries, the wine can patiently wait for its time.
